The following student position is a part of IBM Canada's EPIC (Employment Pathways to Interns & Co-ops) Student Program. This position is only open to students registered in a Canadian University or College program, who have completed a minimum of 2 years of their degree or diploma program, and who must be returning to full-time study upon the completion of the temporary IBM work term.

*This Student Position resides in Ottawa, Ontario and is a a 12 or 16 (internship) month work term commencing May 2017.

Ideal Candidate:
Bluemix is looking for experienced front-end developers to build the next generation of awesomeness for our platform. The ideal candidate should have confidence as a front-end developer, comfort in working with design and engineering in an agile development model to deliver an experience that raises the bar and blends seamlessly into our overall platform experience. Preferred skills and experience would include node.js, angular, react, gulp, jenkins, git, and other related technologies.

  • Experience in building User Interfaces (UI) using JavaScript frameworks
  • Experience in designing and coding Representational State Transfer (REST) Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), with JSON
